Christmas season is here, and we’re launching a brand-new series called “The Light That Leads Us” and it starts with “Let the Advent(ure) Begin.” Traditionally the four weeks before Christmas are called Advent, which means “arrival.” Adventure comes from the same root, pointing to an exciting and unexpected experience. This adventure has nothing to do with religious pressure, performance, or duties. It is an adventure filled with hope, joy, laughter and discovery.

Christmas The Light That Leads Us

In a season of gratitude and bold expectation, we remember that God didn’t wait for us to find Him—He moved toward us. Through the incarnation, Christ stepped into our world as the Light that still leads us forward today.
