“Be strong and courageous… For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:1–9 (NLT)
When God called Joshua, He didn’t offer him a vacation. He invited him into a full life, one with the promise of His presence.
Crossing over with the Israelites meant leaving behind familiar desert rhythms and stepping into promise, responsibility, and courage. Destiny didn’t erase difficulty, but it redefined purpose. Like Joshua, you may be standing between what was and what will be. God’s invitation isn’t just about where you’re going—it’s about who you’re becoming.
His presence goes with you, and that changes everything.
What “desert season” might God be calling you to move beyond?
Where is God inviting you to trust His presence over your comfort?
God, thank You that I don’t cross into the unknown alone. Give me courage to move forward, trusting that Your presence is enough for what’s ahead. Amen.

“Look, the Ark of the Covenant… will lead you across the Jordan River!” – Joshua 3:11 (NLT)
Crossing over takes alignment with God.
God told Israel to follow the Ark, the symbol of His presence. They weren’t to rush ahead or crowd it; they were to keep their eyes fixed on where God was leading. The vision He gave them began with His voice.
In seasons of transition, clarity doesn’t come from certainty—it comes from closeness. When you follow God’s presence, even unfamiliar territory becomes guided ground.
What voices or influences compete with God’s leading in your life?
What would it look like to realign your steps with His presence today?
Lord, help me follow You closely. I don’t want to run ahead or lag behind. Teach me to stay aligned with Your leading. Amen.

“As soon as the feet of the priests… touched the water… the river stopped flowing.” – Joshua 3:15–16 (NLT)
God didn’t part the waters before the priests moved. He parted them after their feet touched the river. The Jordan was overflowing, yet obedience came first. This shows us that faith can require movement before clarity.
Sometimes we wait for dry ground, but God waits for trust. Faith isn’t the absence of fear—it’s obedience in spite of it. Breakthrough often begins with a step that needs the faith of a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20).
What “waters” have you been waiting for God to part before you take your next faithful step?
Are there other steps of obedience you’ve been delaying?
God, give me faith to step forward even when the waters are still rushing. I trust You to make a way as I obey. Amen.
General • •
“Since you have never traveled this way before, they will guide you.” – Joshua 3:4 (NLT)
New territory can feel unsettling, but it’s also where God does new things.
God acknowledged for Joshua and the Israelites that this would be unfamiliar ground, yet He promised guidance. The unknown isn’t a sign you’ve missed God, rather, it can be confirmation you’re following Him.
When God leads you somewhere new, He also provides direction, wisdom, and grace for the journey.
What feels unfamiliar or intimidating about taking your next step in life, situation, or circumstances?
How might God be using this new season to grow your faith?
Is there something new you think God is showing you about Himself?
Lord, even when the path feels unfamiliar, help me trust that You are guiding every step. Amen.

“It was by faith that Abraham obeyed… even when he did not know where he was going.” – Hebrews 11:8 (NLT)
Trusting God means acting on His word even when the map is unclear. We are so used to being in control of when and where we are going that we think faith requires knowing every detail.
But true faith isn’t waiting for certainty—it’s choosing obedience rooted in the confidence that God is faithful. Our steps are ordered and fulfilled because of Him.
How can you practice faith through action today?
What are some areas in your life that need less of your control and more of God’s direction?
God, I choose to trust You even when I don’t see the full picture. Help me walk by faith, not by sight. Amen.

“These stones will stand as a memorial… forever.” – Joshua 4:6–7 (NLT)
Crossing over is not just about moving forward but it is about remembering who brought you through.
God instructed Israel to build a memorial so future generations would know who brought them through. Remembering fuels gratitude, strengthens faith, and anchors hope for future battles. Don’t rush past what God has done—mark it.
What moments of God’s faithfulness do you need to remember?
How can you intentionally mark what God has done in your life?
What have you seen outside of your life that God is doing?
Thank You, God, for bringing me through. Help me remember Your faithfulness and pass it on to others. Amen.

“The Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9 (NLT)
Don’t delay much more crossing over. God invites you to live fully today, not just hope for tomorrow. When His presence leads, your life becomes a testimony of courage, obedience, and trust.
You were never meant to wander forever. It’s time to move forward with renewed vision—dreaming big while living faithfully right where you are.
What are some Big Dreams you have with God?
How can you step into this new season with confidence and trust?
God, I choose to Dream Big and Live Now. Lead me forward with courage, faith, and gratitude for all You’ve done—and all You’re still doing. Amen.
